Do looks matter?

While there are plenty of other challenges to attend to in life, many seem to be bogged down by the issue of looks.
“You fatty,” called out a friend, infuriating his colleague.
“It’s better than being a shortie like you. Once I saw you standing and driving,” joked the “fatty.”
“But you need two seats in a car,” replied the “shortie.”
What started as a joke turned out bitter. Adding to the confusion was the middleaged lady M.
“Why do you argue over looks?” she played a judge, while removing her lipsticks from her vanity bag.
“I am not a part of this discussion,” I tried to wriggle out.
“Ya, it is not a subject for oldies,” replied the “shortie.”
“May be, oldie is better than shortie,” I reacted.
Oof, he managed to infuriate me by touching a raw chord.
My vow never to get provoked went for a toss in a second.

  3. Look plays a vital role in creating first impression. Because everybody wants to deal with good looking people.

But being fat is totally different from not being good looking. Being fat is of course bad !!!
The scribbling about the fatty and sortie was funny.

  4. People are way too hung up on appearances, but I think even more hung up on other people's flaws when they should be focusing on themselves. I was happy to see a post from you this morning, Ramesh. You always make me smile. Much affection and good wishes, my dear buddy. :)

  17. Looks do matter! If you look good, people do have high expectations, and if you perform, they say he is there because of his looks, and if you don't they say he only has looks and nothing else.

P.S.: Can you please tell me the problem that you are facing in our blog? It will be very kind of you. My email:
